What is a Mystery School? By Dave Lanyon CEO, RMMS North and South America In ancient times, humans lived in Shamanic societies and each individual was "initiated" as a part life as well as being taught the sacred text. In time, people began to feel indifferent to these holy teachings lightly. Seeing this, the High Priests and Priestesses decided to create sacred societies that kept and taught these holy tools for only those who were worthy. In time these "sacred societies" became "secret societies" because of persecution and misunderstanding of what they represented. Today, one of these secret societies, our Mystery School has become open to the public and it is called The Rocky Mountain Mystery School. A name is simply that, a name. The true power of the school comes from the headmaster, Gudni Gudnason. Gudni brought the teachings of these sacred works to North America and Japan from Europe and started to spread these secret teachings to those who are worthy. This is the "Holy Grail" of the Mystery School tradition and is now available to those who want it. Recently I asked Mr. Gudnason about the Mystery School and what benefit it can provide us today. His answer follows. Gudni: The Mystery School represents the best within us all. It gives you tools that you can use to create anything you want - literally, anything you want. When empowered with the first tool of the Mystery School, the 22 strand DNA activation, you will have all of your gifts from God activated and ready to be used. In the second tool, the Adept initiation, you will have the Powers of Heaven protecting you against evil and you will become a firm member of the family of the Masters of Light. With the third tool, which is the Teachers program, you will partake of the higher energies of the Archangels and be prepared to serve in a higher capacity as a healer and Light Worker. With this initiation and training you are given tools of empowerment which you can hand down and teach to others. The fourth tool is your Guide initiation. With it you will become a permanent member of the Great White Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light as a council member and have direct guidance from this group. As a guide you will be able to help thousands of people and bring Light wherever you go in the world. Also on this path of Light you can become a Ritual Master, a very different initiation. This tool is one of the most important tools that God has ever given us. As such you can do amazing high-end magick that penetrates the veil and brings you to the other side to work. You will be able to go to the other side and help those who are trapped there to go to the Light. The further one goes on this path the more help you can give to the humans in lesson on this planet. 
For centuries, the Ritual Masters of this lineage, which started with King Salomon, have served secretly in the background of societies. Another tool that is handed down in the same programme is the Kabbalistic Cross which will protect you from negative energy as you go about your daily routine. One of the ritual tools you are taught along the way is the Magick Circle, which is given to those who do the first initiation, the Adept. This tool gives you the power to create a sacred, protected space, anywhere you want (home, workplace, etc). These are ancient tools that have come to us through the mists of time, from masters such as King Salomon and many others that have chosen this path. We have had such individuals as Ra, Isis, Osiris, Hermes Trismeticus (who initiated Moses), Moses, The Buddah, Babaji (who initiated Jesus the Christ during his missing years when he visited India and Tibet), Jesus the Christ, King Salomon, Queen Sheba, Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Miyamoto Musashi, Rudolph Steiner, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Madam Blavatsky, Carl Jung, Nicola Tesla and many others. They all studied these ancient mysteries and manifested miraculous things in their lives. You too can become one of these individuals and achieve great things in your life. After being the headmaster of the Mystery School for almost fourteen years, I am finally seeing the bigger picture and it is a very exciting time for me. When I first came to North America and started to work alone I was the only one who could hand down these teachings. Then under the direction of the HIERARCHY, I slowly developed more Guides, Teachers and Ritual Masters who in turn began to teach others. Today we have grown so much that North America and our satellite school in Japan each have a 12-member leadership council. These leaders have the main responsibility of keeping the school growing in the right direction and being the main teachers and healers of this lineage. These individuals are all very successful in using the tools of the Mystery School. So with this leadership people can finally come and be a part of a phenomenon that has many as the leaders, not just one person. It is now the time of no more secrets. It is time for all of us to enjoy the tools of power - and there are so many tools to give you if you are brave enough to reach for them!! Paths of Progression
There are three parallel paths of progress within the Rocky Mountain Mystery School. The first is that of the “Lightworker”, the second is that of the "Kabbalist", and the third is the “Ritual Master”. These three paths were established long ago in King Salomon’s Temple. Each path of initiation represented one of the three pillars on the Tree of Life: the Kabbalist (Sage) sought to master the Pillar of Philosophy or Mind; the Healer/Lightworker (also called the Hospitlars in King Solomon's Temple) worked to ascend the Pillar of Love-Mercy and Service; the Warrior Magi/Ritual Master (once known as the Templars or Knights of the Temple) strived to walk the path of Balance on Middle Pillar of Will and Consciousness. Many initiates on these three paths were cross-trained in order to master the many aspects of Life and to achieve Balance on their Journey of ascension up the Tree of Life.
And so it is in accordance with the lineage of King Salomon that the Western Mystery School tradition also has three paths which can be interwoven by the aspirant who seeks mastery and enlightenment. While each path is complete unto itself, and they all lead back to the Divine, each one works with a different kind of mastery. Ultimately, in order to walk the Middle Path of Balance, one must seek out the teachings and experiences of all aspects of the Tree of Life. Therefore the Warrior Magi, or Ritual Master, is one who explores all three Paths of Mind, Will, and Service, weaving them together to create a synergy that empowers their magick.
Each path has 3 steps of initiation and several stages of training in order to progress to the next level. The chart below outlines the paths of progress one can take. Again, one can choose to walk just one path, a combination of two, or all paths at once, according to their personal quest and calling.
In all cases, the path of initiation is an accelerated life path towards achieving one’s full potential and completing the Great Work. Advancing through the levels of initiation and receiving these light transmissions empowers one to become self-radiant, progressively transforming the subtle body into a body of light. Through these initiations one quickens their evolution towards ascension.
The path of the Lightworker/Healer is focused on service that directly interfaces with people, whether it is in the context of teaching, healing, energy work, counseling, or other types of public service. The driving force for this Service is the flow of Divine Love from Spirit for all humans. Through this path one can purify the soul and gain contact with Wisdom. All true lightwork is done through service to others and to God/dess. Serving in this capacity opens up a direct channel for Divine Source to flow through us into the world and our work, illuminating everything more fully.
The path of the Kabbalist is focused on harnessing the power of the Mind and on exploring the philosophical teachings of the Cosmos and Creation. The Kabbalist seeks to master these concepts by practically applying them into the world. The true sign of accomplishment on this path is when one can manifest the creative ideas sourced from the Divine into tangible forms of expression, bringing abundance, prosperity, and joy into life. The Kabbalist's aim is to help anchor Heaven on Earth and reclaim one's birthright to the full awakening of their inner Divine. Through the application of Knowledge into the world to create positive transformation, this Path leads one towards True Understanding of the Cosmos and It's Ways. The Ritual Master/Warrior Magi is also a healer, teacher, co-creator with the Divine, etc., but the focus is on walking the Middle Path of Balance and achieving Mastery of the Self - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The aim is to purify the ego and develop the True Identity, in order to align oneself with the Will of God/dess. Indeed the Ritual Masters are leaders, and always interface with the public, yet their greatest work is done behind the scenes through Magickal Practice, Temple Work, and Dispelling Chaos & Darkness. The Path of Balance is the most challenging of the three paths, because it requires one to eventually master the other two as well, in order to achieve the balance of all things. This path is not for the faint of heart, the weak of will, or the spiritual tourist. Rather, this IS the path for those who are truly ready to be Empowered in Life, to take responsibility for their experiences, accountability for their actions, and to become Self-Made Leaders. The journey along the Ritual Master path is as challenging as it is rewarding, and it leads towards what is called the Crown of Creation, or the Holy Grail of Union with All That Is. Unity is only achieved through the Balance and Reconciliation of all things. Thus the accomplished Ritual Master is one who stands in the midst of the storm skillfully mediating and redirecting energies so as to transform the chaos into harmony and order.
